Stand - Transmissions

Just got these in the other day... This is some packaging I did for the band Stand from Dublin, Ireland. They came out looking really good.

Urbanite: Tags and Ink at Parts and Labor Collective

The guy in the black hoodie knows of only one "Pop Artist", and that's Andy Warhol. Sweet.

Anthony Lister: Great work at Artropolis

Probably my two favorite of the whole show. These look great in person.

Artropolis Chicago 08'

Artropolis Chicago was this weekend and it was super dope. I picked up a Thomas Campbell print. I've been trying to get something of his for awhile now. Iconoclast came through. I was really impressed by the amount of work that was there. Tons and tons of work. Goodtimes! Here's a couple shots from the show... And an extended thank you to Sarah Howard from USF's Graphic Studio for the free grolsch tokens!

Thurston Moore on Dinosaur Jr. > Budge

grab a ride, see the wings most fly
try to picture me with you
let's stop we can crush at high speed
hope we can feel enough for two

yeah I gave you a nudge not sure what to touch
hey, made my nudge
why won't you just budge

grab a ride, see the wings most fly
try to picture me with you
we can gaze then a trade to space plane
tons of rubble to sift through

yeah I need a bug not sure what to touch
hey, made my last nudge
why won't you just budge

grab a ride, see the wings most fly
try to picture me with you
we can gaze then a trade to space plane
tons of rubble to sift through
let's stop we can crush at high speed
hope we can feel enough for two

Sweet Beard!

Putting on the big boy pants...

Gully's got a blog! Peep this out for a (up to date?) look on the Tampa Bay art scene. He also has squishy boots for sale...

60 & Sunny

The old lady and I picked up some cruisers this weekend...
The ride is smooth, the seat hurts my ass though... probably going to throw a new color on the frame and possibly get some bars.
Also gonna throw some new brakes on her... Updates to come...

Spot Check:

I was recently looking through some photo's on Flickr when I stumbled upon some frames that I recently noticed on my way home. Naz Hamid is the photographer behind the image below. Naz has some really good photo's and he's also a solid designer. I also found out through reading on his Flickr that he is also the creative director for GapersBlock, a real nice site dedicated to all things Chicago... Check out his Flickr to look at some great photos.
