Final artwork for the 2008 ArtWalk Ravenswood

Here's what the artwork will look like. The Brown Line Ad will start running next week on Friday. As soon as I see it I'll snap a photo and throw it up on here. The posters should start popping up around the city very soon!

Vacation on Cape Cod...

Katie took me with her to visit her family on Cape Cod. What a great time it was. Her Dad & I surfed every morning, well, he surfed and I tried with some success. The Cape is a very beautiful place with great beaches. Hardly any commercial business' around. It reminded me a bit of the east coast of Florida but much much nicer and much cleaner. It was a time I wont forget and one that I'm very thankful for. I had a great time.

Looking ahead...

The CTA Ad on the Brown Line got approved last night. Starting in September my ad for the ArtWalk Ravenswood will run for a month on the Brown Line! I'll be putting this together next week. I'll have images as soon as possible. I will also be getting the "Dressed To Kill" remix packaging I did for Stand out of Dublin, IR. I'll have photos on that as well. Take it easy.

Vacation!

Headed out to Cape Cod this week for some much needed vacation time. The misses and I will be back on Monday. Cheers!

Museum at the Art Institute Chicago

Took a trip to the Art Institutes museum this weekend to check out the Graphic Thought Exhibition. The exhibit itself wasn't that great. It didn't really explore graphic design. Pretty weak execution by the museum on that one. Instead I took pictures of some of the other collections. Enjoy.

Pitchfork 08'

Had the chance to shoot Pitchfork Music Festival this year for REAX Music Magazine. It was a blast and I had a really good time. Thanks to REAX for hooking me up and all of the relaxed security guards that let us get free beer. Can't beat a cold 312.

Chicago Artisit's Month 2008

I'm working with the ArtWalk Ravenswood this year to do their artwork for this year's ArtWalk. This is the neighborhoods 7th year running and plan to show over 150 artists. This image will be the poster, flyer and map cover for this years event. Be sure to come out, I'll be showing some new work and there is a ton of other talented artists.
